The next question asks how many total combined years of post-secondary education and/or full-time or equivalent part-time paid work experience that you have. To help you answer this question, please use the following equivalency chart to convert any vocational school training, college or university education you have completed into the appropriate amount of qualifying experience: 90 clock hours = 1 month of experience 1080 clock hours = 1 year of experience Every thirty (30) undergraduate semester hours = One (1) year of experience Every forty-five (45) undergraduate quarter hours = One (1) year of experience Associate Degree = Two (2) years of experience Bachelor's Degree = Four (4) years of experience Every fifteen (15) graduate semester hours = One (1) year of experience Master's Degree = Two (2) years of experience Juris Doctor = Three (3) years of experience Doctorate/PhD = Four (4) years of experience After converting your vocational school clock hours, college or university semester hours and/or degrees into years of experience using the chart above, please add them to any paid work experience you have in order to answer the following question. For example: If you have a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of paid work experience, using the chart above, you may count the Bachelor’s degree as the equivalent of 4 years of paid work experience. Add that to your 5 years of paid work experience, and that equals a total of 9 years of combined qualifying education and experience. Therefore, you would select: “I have eight (8) to less than ten (10) years of qualifying education and paid work experience combined…” from the choices below. If you have 80 undergraduate semester hours and 3 years of paid work experience, you would count the 80 undergraduate semester hours as the equivalent of 2 years of paid work experience from the chart above (each 30 semester hours = 1 year of qualifying experience.) Added to your 3 years of paid work experience gives you a total of 5 years of combined qualifying education and experience. Therefore, you would select: “I have four (4) to less than six (6) years of qualifying education and paid work experience combined…” from the choices below. How many total years of combined qualifying post-secondary education and paid work experience do you have?

  • I have zero (0) to less than two (2) years of qualifying education and paid work experience combined. Please do not apply.
  • I have two (2) to less than four (4) years of qualifying education and paid work experience combined.
  • I have four (4) to less than six (6) years of qualifying education and paid work experience combined.
  • I have six (6) to less than eight (8) years of qualifying education and paid work experience combined.
  • I have eight (8) to less than ten (10) years of qualifying education and paid work experience combined.
  • I have ten (10) or more years of qualifying education and paid work experience combined.
