We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Quality Assurance Engineer to support software testing, quality control, and system reliability processes within the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for ensuring high-quality products and user experiences.
The Entry-Level Quality Assurance Engineer will assist in testing applications, identifying system issues, documenting defects, and supporting quality improvement initiatives throughout the software development lifecycle. This role requires excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced technical environment.
Key responsibilities include executing test cases, identifying and reporting bugs, verifying software functionality, supporting regression and performance testing, and maintaining accurate testing documentation. The position may also involve assisting with test planning, tracking defects, collaborating with development teams, and contributing to process improvements that enhance software quality and operational efficiency.
The successful candidate should be familiar with software testing concepts, debugging processes, and quality assurance methodologies. Exposure to manual testing, automated testing tools, databases, APIs, or software development workflows is highly beneficial. The ability to analyze technical issues and communicate findings clearly is essential for success in this role.
Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, teamwork, adaptability, and a proactive approach to learning new technologies and testing practices. A high level of accuracy, patience, and accountability is important when handling testing procedures and quality evaluations. The ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting deadlines is also highly valued.
Preferred qualifications include a background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
