AJ’s Market is a local, family-owned natural foods market serving the Soquel and Aptos community for nearly 40 years. We’re looking for an experienced Cook to join our renowned kitchen.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in quality and consistency, and works well as part of a team. We’re looking for someone who cares about great food, excellent customer service, and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook menu items according to our recipes and standards
- Maintain consistency, quality, and proper portion control
- Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy service periods
- Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and food-safe
- Assist with prep, stocking, and kitchen organization
- Help ensure customers receive fresh, well-prepared food
