Elipticon Wood Products is seeking an experienced, dependable Delivery Driver to safely transport high-end wood moldings and millwork throughout Wisconsin and surrounding areas.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service, and being part of a hardworking team. We operate a 26-foot straight truck (no CDL required), and we are willing to help the right candidate obtain a CDL in the future.
What You’ll Do
- Safely deliver products to customer locations in a timely and professional manner.
- Load and unload materials from the delivery vehicle using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Package and stage materials for delivery, ensuring accuracy and care.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues.
- Maintain delivery logs and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Monitor inventory of delivered products and assist in warehouse operations when needed.
- Employees who operate company vehicles must install and use the company’s approved driver safety application. While use of the application is required by the company, employees will receive a company-determined phone reimbursement for participating.
Hours:
- Schedule: Monday – Friday (approximate 42-45 hours depending on production)
Qualifications
- Previous experience driving a 26-foot box truck or similar commercial vehicle required
- Clean driving record (Motor Vehicle Record required)
- Valid driver’s license
- DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate (Fed Med Card) or ability to obtain before employment
- Ability to lift and move building materials
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
