Experienced Gardener
Trademark Homescapes Inc. is seeking an Experienced Gardener. Trademark Homescapes designs, installs and maintains residential landscapes in the greater Asheville area. We do everything from site work, water mitigation and hardscape to landscape design, plant installation, water features and fine gardening. As the Experienced Gardener, you’d join an established group of experienced Horticulturist, Gardeners, and Installers to bring our clients landscapes to life. Full time and Part time positions available.
The Experienced Gardener would be responsible for watering and care of new installs through establishment, on-going care in established gardens, perennial installations, assisting with new plant installations and maintaining container plantings.
As the Experienced Gardener, your duties may include:
- Following a maintenance calendar to care for established and new landscapes
- Pest and disease management
- Proper pruning of woody materials
- Deadheading and cutting back plants in the appropriate season
- Weeding
- Fertilizing
Job Qualifications
- working knowledge of plant ID for trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses, annuals, and weeds
- 2 years of related experience
- time management skills
- ability to work as a member of a group and individually
- attention to detail
- experience working outside in all weather conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.50 per hour
