We are seeking a motivated and experienced Landscape Groundskeeper to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas pristine and inviting
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for tasks like soil preparation, planting, and hardscape installation
- Conduct lawn care activities such as aeration, fertilization, weed control, and irrigation system management to promote healthy turf growth
- Maintain trees through trimming, pruning, and tree care techniques to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
- Execute snow plowing and ice removal during winter months to ensure safe access and pathways
- Assist with landscape construction projects including hardscape installations like patios or walkways using appropriate tools and techniques
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping with a strong understanding of horticulture principles (2+ Years of Experience Required).
- Mechanical knowledge of lawn care equipment, power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators
- Familiarity with irrigation systems, tree care practices, gardening techniques, and snow plowing operations
- Ability to operate landscaping machinery safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to landscape upkeep and safety protocols
