Job Overview
We are seeking experienced masons to join our dedicated team at Original Rock Designs. This role requires skilled professionals capable of executing a wide range of masonry tasks with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidates will have extensive construction site experience, proficiency with various tools and techniques, and a strong understanding of blueprints and schematics. Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair stone, brick, concrete, and related materials on diverse projects including commercial buildings, residential homes, and restoration sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of designs
- Install rebar reinforcement for concrete structures following safety standards and specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Assist with renovation projects by restoring or updating existing structures using appropriate masonry techniques
- Measure materials accurately and estimate quantities for construction estimating purposes
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper equipment handling
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mason with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods including rebar installation and tile laying
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes
- Strong understanding of safety standards on construction sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments

Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour
