We are seeking a highly experienced Pool & Hardscape Project Manager capable of leading construction teams and successfully delivering outdoor living projects in Florida’s extreme heat conditions. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of pool and hardscape construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and workflow on-site.
- Review construction drawings to verify scope accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Manage project documentation including change orders and progress reports to the homeowner and to Management Team.
- Conduct on-site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and ensure quality control throughout the construction process.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all project activities, including time management logs and photos within our APP-based software CompanyCam.
- Ensure all work meets company standards, engineering requirements, and Florida building codes.
- Troubleshoot construction challenges and implement effective solutions.
Experience
- Proven experience managing residential or commercial pool installations and outdoor hardscape projects from inception through completion.
- Strong background in pool construction/ hardscape installs and project scheduling with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with contracts management, subcontractor coordination, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Hands-on experience with construction site supervision in outdoor environments involving landscaping elements like patios, retaining walls, water features, and other hardscape components.
- Requires deep knowledge of hardscape project management, including grading, base preparation, paver installation, retaining walls and drainage.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and engineering documents.
- Excellent time management skills coupled with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Florida-specific construction requirements and permitting.
- Strong knowledge in both residential and commercial pool projects.
- Valid Florida driver’s license.
- Smart Phone (preferably a Apple iPhone)
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, walk uneven terrain, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work full days outdoors in extreme heat while maintaining safety and productivity.
Pay: $25.00 – $29.00 per hour
