Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Residential Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate MUST have 5+ years of experience in building wood, vinyl, and aluminum fencing. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Our Fence Installers are responsible for constructing and installing fences that meet our clients’ specifications while ensuring high-quality workmanship.
Duties
- Assemble and install various types of fencing materials, including wood, vinyl, aluminum, and metal.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installation tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and erecting fence panels. At times, handling 50+ pounds.
- Execute concrete finishing tasks to secure fence posts in place.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the installation process.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications
- At least five years of proven experience in fence building and leading a team is required. Candidate MUST provide previous jobs and telephone numbers to check references.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as needed. At times, you may handle over 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of concrete finishing methods is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with other team members.
- This is a 40+ hours, full-time position.
- Must be able to work outdoors year-round.
- Candidate must have own transportation and not rely on rides to work. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
