ONSITE SHOP POSITION – MUST HAVE HEAVY ELECTRICAL knowledge and skills and be FORKLIFT certified.
We’re a small, family-owned manufacturing business that was established in 2003. We build processing equipment for the hot-dip galvanizing, aluminum anodizing, plating, and wastewater industry. HAVE YOU SEEN GUARDRAIL ALONG THE HIGHWAY? LIGHT POLES? We build containments that hold the chemicals to process steel and other metals. We’re seeking an individual that is excited about joining an energetic, busy plastic fabrication shop with an extensive knowledge of ELECTRICAL, power tools, schematics, pnuematics, and can multi-task.
MUST HAVE HEAVY ELECTRICAL knowledge and skills and be FORKLIFT certified. This position requires an experienced electrical skill set and a keen understanding of basic warehouse equipment maintenance and operation. You will ensure the continuous operation of facilities and equipment by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting machinery , and conducting repairs on large stationary equipment ( Butt Welder, CNC Router, Bender, Plate Welder), Forklifts/Compressors, plastic welding equipment (Extrusion Guns/Hand Welders). Additional duties are:
- Basic upkeep with facility needs- painting, changing light bulbs, air filters and other housekeeping needs.
- Maintain tool inventory.
- Join and provide updates on equipment during Safety Meetings.
- Research on-line for parts & get quotes.
Job Requirements:
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Physically able to bend, lift, carry and climb throughout the day.
- Be Drug-Free
- Be trustworhty and forth coming.
- Have a positive attitude.
- Work safely and follow OSHA guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and report to owner.
- Keep maintenance area and tools clean and organized.
- Valid Driver’s License as you must be able to drive the company truck.
- Provide two (2) forms of State or Federal issued identification. Examples include: Valid Passport, Valid Drivers License or Birth Certificate.
- Punctual.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work diligently, safely and efficiently while on the clock.
- Work closely with the owner and shop manager to keep the shop running to include welding tools and machinery.

Pay: $26.00 – $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
