Job Description
Perform environmental testing of residential and commercial buildings. Work directly with property owners, restoration partners, and contractors in conducing testing. Use testing equipment (provided) and procedures accurately and quickly. Write analytical reports and communicate findings to interested parties in a timely manner. Daily travel (company vehicle provided) to locations throughout Colorado. This job requires working in diverse environments, can be physically demanding, and involves long work days during busy seasons.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

-Arrive promptly to job sites.
-Properly care for equipment and the customer’s environment.
-Dress professionally with a clean appearance.
-Answer client questions.
-Take samples for analysis.
-Process payment from customers on site.
-Submit samples to the laboratory following guidelines.
-Create accurate reports and communicate results to clients in a timely manner.
-Clean and properly maintain equipment, vehicle and digital equipment.
-Conduct asbestos, air quality, mold, VOC, ATP, carbon monoxide, radon, meth, and lead tests following protocols. Additional testing services may be required.
-Acquire/maintain proper certifications, including taking classes and exams as required.
-Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Required
-Excellent customer service to diverse audiences
-Outstanding English verbal and written communication skills
-Write reports following established protocols
-Valid Colorado driver’s license and clean driving record
-General understanding of residential and commercial construction
-Ability to regularly lift 100 pounds
-Personal computer experience including spreadsheets, and word processing, and digital reports
-Experience with digital photography using mobile devices (tablet, phone, etc.)
-Detail oriented
-Self-motivated
-Curious and eager to learn
-Adherence to safety protocols
-Point of sales processing
-Flexibility to changing schedule and work priorities
-CDPHE certified Building Inspector for asbestos bulk sampling OR become certified within six months of hiring
-CDPHE lead based paint inspector certified OR become certified within six months of hiring
-CDPHE meth certified or become certified within six months of hiring
-Colorado radon certified OR become certified within six months of hiring
-Demonstrated competence to conduct asbestos, air quality, mold, lead and radon OR be able to conduct all tests within six months of hiring
-Experience with Vonigo or other digital scheduling programs
Preferred
-AMS certified
-Lead Risk Assessor certified
Education
-Bachelor’s Degree in Science
