Job Description – Fin Mill Operator
Growing aerospace company seeks a Fin Mill Operator with a desire to take on compliance and safety responsibilities. ETP is a leading FAA/EASA/Boeing approved repair station specializing in both CMM & DER repair services, for heat exchangers, condensers, reheaters, oil coolers/heaters and accessories.
The Fin Mill Operator is responsible for safely and accurately operating the precision fin forming machine / equipment to successfully manufacture a range of fin material for heat exchangers. This role supports production efficiency, quality standards, and workplace safety within the manufacturing operation and/or other supporting machinery. This position also requires the aptitude to learn assembly stacking of core manufacturing. This is a unique opportunity for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Fin Mill Machine for aluminum, and other metals according to Manufacturing orders and set ups in accordance with fin drawing(s).
- Installing fin forming dies and proper positioning for fin count and height
- Set up and adjust servo cutter and fin counter to ensure a successful fin per inch
- Inspect finished materials for quality, height, fin per inch, and compliance with specifications
- Follow all safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Perform basic fin mill maintenance and report mechanical or safety issues promptly
- Coordinate with supervisors and other production personnel to meet production schedules
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating fin mill, heat exchanger preferred
- Ability to read work orders, blueprints, and measurements
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as height gauge, calipers, and squares
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift, move, and handle metal materials as required
- High school diploma, GED
- Pass random drug/alcohol testing
- Basic computer skills
Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per hour
