Flexaseal Engineered Seals and Systems, LLC, is a worldwide systems and mechanical seal manufacturer with facilities in Vermont, New York, Washington, Louisiana, Texas and Brazil. After 40 years, Flexaseal is continuing to grow with sales agents and distributors servicing over 50 countries. We are seeking a full-time Finishing Technician to join our team!
The Finishing Technician is responsible for inspecting and finishing products while ensuring they comply with Flexaseal mechanical seal design specifications. This would require the use of hand tools and grinders to remove excess material or polish and buff parts.
Responsibilities:
- Finish products by using grinders and other required tools
- Reads and interprets complex blueprints to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
- Work closely and professionally with internal team members to find solutions to any problems that arise
- Perform other Finishing duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in working with grinding tools is preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production type of environment
- A willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to perform moderate lifting of materials (around 25 lbs.), sit, stand, climb and bend on a regular basis
