General Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable, team-oriented, and motivated Food Service Assistant to support the daily operation of the kitchen at Holmes Elementary School. Working alongside the Food Service Lead, this position plays an essential role in preparing and serving nutritious breakfasts and lunches, ensuring a positive dining experience for students each day. Responsibilities include preparing and serving breakfast, assisting with daily lunch production and service, receiving and stocking deliveries, maintaining accurate production records, ensuring USDA meal pattern compliance, and upholding food safety and sanitation standards. This position also shares responsibility for daily kitchen cleanup, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, flexible, and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team dedicated to serving students.
Hours: 7:30 am – 1:30 pm/ Monday – Friday
