**About Us**
We’re a family-run halal Mediterranean food cart on N Williams Ave located inside cartside food pod, serving authentic shawarma since 2022. Everything is made fresh daily — halal meats, house-made sauces, traditional recipes. We’ve built a loyal following across Portland and we’re growing.

**The Role**
You’ll be a core part of a small, fast-moving crew. Shifts are approximately 4 hours, 5 days a week (11am – 3pm) great for someone who wants consistent part-time income without a full-time commitment.
**What you’ll do:**
- Prep ingredients and set up the cart throughout the day
- Take and assemble orders quickly and accurately while using POS system
- Keep the workspace clean and organized during service
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, professional way
- Help with end-of-day clean-up and close-down

**What We’re Looking For**
- Focused and a quick learner
- Reliable, you show up on time, every time
- Fast and efficient in a small, high-energy workspace
- Friendly with customers even when it gets busy
- Takes pride in food quality and cleanliness
- Oregon Food Handler Card required (can be obtained before first shift, ~1 hour online)
- Experience in a kitchen, food cart, or fast food environment
**Nice to have (not required):**
- Familiarity with Middle Eastern or Mediterranean food
- Bilingual is a plus but not required
