About The Role
We are seeking a talented and creative Front-End Web Developer to join our web development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web design and development, with a passion for creating user-centric, aesthetically pleasing, and high-performance websites. This role involves maintaining and enhancing existing websites, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency, and contributing to projects aimed at improving scalability, usability, and overall platform performance. The position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $18.00 to $20.00, depending on experience and skills. The successful candidate will work in a supportive environment that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth, with access to secure workspace and flexible work arrangements.
Qualifications
- Strong educational background in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in CSS, JavaScript, and HTML for website development and maintenance
- Experience with server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as SASS
- Understanding of web accessibility and performance standards
- Good eye for design and web aesthetics
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Experience with cloud services such as Amazon AWS
- Knowledge of HubSpot platform and integrations
- Understanding of continuous integration methodologies
- Excellent time management and self-motivation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Fast learner with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance existing websites using CSS, JavaScript, and HTML to ensure optimal performance and user experience
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align website design with overall branding and functionality standards
- Implement web development best practices to improve scalability, performance, and usability across the platform
- Participate in project planning and execution, contributing innovative ideas and technical expertise
- Ensure websites are accessible, compliant, and optimized for various devices and browsers
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving website issues promptly
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies
- Contribute to documentation and code versioning to facilitate team collaboration and project management
