Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic, professional and reliable Maintenance Technician. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job.
You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems to ensure facilities are tidy and functional. The ideal candidate will have verifiable experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
To perform these jobs successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required, but are not all inclusive.
Duties
· Perform regular maintenance on buildings, mechanical systems, equipment and grounds to detect any issues and resolve them promptly.
· Perform garden, yard and grounds upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.
· Collaborate with other team members and other professionals during renovations.
· Ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed timely and accurately.
· Assist in the installation, repair, and servicing of various equipment and systems.
· Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work.
· Monitor and respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly.
Qualifications
· Proven experience as maintenance worker or a similar position
· Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
· Experience using hand and electrical tools
· Very good communication and interpersonal skills
· Physical stamina and dexterity
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Must be able to speak and read English; second language a plus
Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
