Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee all aspects of our Eatery, Market and Fuel operations. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, fostering a customer-centric environment, and leading a dedicated team to achieve business goals and objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong business acumen and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Direct and oversee daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the market operations, including inventory management, staffing, and customer service.
- Business Management: Understand and execute budgets and sales goals.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional service standards and maintain a positive work environment.
- Customer Relations: Build strong customer relationships by ensuring high service standards, resolving customer concerns, and implementing feedback-driven improvements.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field preferred. Must be older than 21 years old.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Experience selecting, training performance management of staff, sales building, labor allocation and scheduling, managing expenses.
- Availability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
- Proficient in leading and implementing change processes.
- Must be willing to travel for training, meetings and business events.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance.
- Knowledge of fuel market operations, safety regulations, and industry standards.
