Duties
- Greet customers warmly in Spanish and English, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they walk in
- Assist clients with selecting, demonstrating, and explaining jewelry pieces to highlight their features and craftsmanship
- Educate customers about gold jewelry care, quality, and styling options
- Upsell additional items or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain organized jewelry displays and ensure the store is well-stocked with attractive jewelry arrangements.
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in jewelry, luxury goods, or retail store environments that require excellent customer service skills
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is essential for effective communication with diverse clientele
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
- Strong phone etiquette skills to handle inquiries professionally and courteously while engaging customers with enthusiasm
