As a ground crew member, you will play a key role in supporting tree care, landscaping, and land management operations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors in various weather conditions while developing valuable skills in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and equipment operation. Duties
- Assist with tree trimming, and pruning, to promote healthy growth and landscape aesthetics
- Operate bucket trucks and chainsaws safely to access high branches or difficult terrain
- Support rigging and plant care activities to ensure proper handling and placement of trees and shrubs
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, planting, mulching, and general upkeep
- Perform routine equipment checks on bucket trucks, chainsaws, and other tools to ensure safety standards are met
- Support tree care specialists with climbing, rigging, or other technical tasks as needed
Experience
- Prior experience in landscaping, horticulture, or tree care is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with bucket trucks, chainsaws, or other arborist equipment is preferred
- Knowledge of dendrology (the study of trees), plant pruning care, and growing practices enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Basic lawn care and landscape maintenance skills are beneficial
- Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
- A commitment to safety protocols and teamwork in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
