Aquinas joins hundreds of Catholic schools across the nation as part of the growing renaissance of Catholic classical liberal arts education.
Key Responsibilities
- Mission & Culture: Model and foster STA’s Catholic classical identity; ensure all school life and activities reflect the mission and vision.
- Faculty Leadership: Recruit, hire, evaluate, and coach teachers; provide accountability, support, and professional development.
- Curriculum Design & Standards: Oversee curriculum design and standards; ensure quality and consistency of instruction; manage testing and accreditation processes.
- Student Success: Monitor academic progress, address challenges, and partner with parents and students to support achievement and formation.
- Community Engagement: Represent the school at events; collaborate with faculty, staff, parents, and stakeholders.
- Additional Duties: Teach a middle school subject if needed; assist with admissions and student discipline; organize curriculum resources and schedules.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, humility, moral character, and love of learning.
- Significant teaching experience, ideally within classical liberal education.
- Prior school leadership or administrative experience.
