Position Summary
8 HOUR PAY!!! As a certified HHA you are an essential part of the Memory Care team providing direct care services to all residents. Reporting directly to the site manager, you will assist residents with bathroom needs, dressing, feeding, bathing, recreation, cooking, laundry, cleaning, monitoring skin integrity and more.
Essential Responsibilities:
Providing all services directly to residents regarding activities of daily living.
Actively communicate and work with families and residents of Memory Care to ensure all needs and requests are being met.
Complete appropriate documentation.
Provide direct resident care. Model behavior and interventions
Minimum Job Qualifications
Level of Education
- High School Diploma
- Professional Certification – HHA
Level of Experience:
All level of experience welcome
General Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to read and write, follow written and oral instructions, and communicate effectively in English. Ability to work with the elderly in a courteous and friendly manner, demonstrating patience and compassion. Ability to perform duties with consideration for residents’ rights at all times and demonstrate integrity and discretion in the care of residents and in handling their health information.
Technical Skills:
Experience with basic clinical procedures within the scope of practice for a Home Health Aid. Ability to plan, organize, implement, interpret, and manage programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and resources necessary to provide quality of care.
