Hospice Aide CNA – Egg Harbor, NJ – PRN Jobs in Paterson, USA at Optum

Home and Community Based Services Aide – PRN/Inconsistent position providing home visits for hospice care in NJ. Supports personal hygiene and household tasks to help clients remain in their own homes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
  • Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
  • Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
  • Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs

Required Qualifications

  • Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation
  • Ability to work flexible hours and independently
  • Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client

Preferred Qualifications

    Schedule and Coverage

    • PRN/Inconsistent position doing home visits for hospice care
    • Hours:

      Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; evening/weekend hours available

    • Agency covers a 50 mile radius; candidates must be able to see patients within this area

    Compensation and Benefits

    Pay is based on factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. Hourly pay range for this role is $10.00 to $27.69 per hour (full-time equivalency considered). Benefits available where eligible, including comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution.
