Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Conduct floor care activities including stripping, waxing, polishing, and buffing to keep all flooring looking pristine.
- Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, and cleaning products to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency.
- Follow established safety procedures during cleaning processes and handle cleaning equipment responsibly.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality and cleanliness.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred. We will train the right person.
- Proven skills in cleaning techniques, including industrial cleaning methods for large-scale facilities.
- Knowledge of floor care procedures such as stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing floors.
- Experience working in hospitality environments where customer service excellence is essential.
- Familiarity with custodial equipment and cleaning supplies to perform duties safely and effectively.
- Background in housekeeper management or supervising cleaning staff is a plus but not required.
