Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics, ohmmeters, and electrical equipment repair techniques.
- Conduct carpentry, painting, welding, and mechanical repairs to maintain the facility’s appearance and functionality.
- Maintain facilities equipment including hand tools, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other mechanical systems.
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future repairs.
- Supervise or assist with plumbing system maintenance and repair, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Support the team with electrical work, HVAC system repairs, building interior maintenance, and other facilities-related tasks to uphold safety and quality standards.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance across diverse systems.
- Proficiency in electrical work including troubleshooting electrical equipment and reading schematics.
- Hands-on experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair.
- Skilled in welding, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and using hand tools effectively.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems repair, including troubleshooting and routine servicing.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks.
- Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately.
- Experience with Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) practices in manufacturing or hospitality settings.
- Competence in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing equipment.
- Leadership or supervising experience is a plus for coordinating maintenance activities efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with team members and report issues clearly.
