Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our team. This vital role ensures the smooth overnight operation of our hospitality services, providing exceptional guest experiences while reviewing and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests arriving or departing during overnight hours with professionalism and warmth
- Reviews front-desk operations, and logs and reconciles all charges from the previous day.
- Receives and records guests’ payments, completes postings of all charges to guest folios, and reconciles revenues with PMS revenue reports.
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions using property management systems (PMS) and resolve disputed charges.
- Verify guest billing accuracy, process payments, and reconcile accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Prepares manager’s daily report for the General Manager’s review.
- Answer all telephone calls promptly and courteously and assist hotel guests as needed during their stay.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation for management review.
- Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Hospitality Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Night Auditor required, resort or luxury environment preferred
- Associate’s degree in Hospitality or Business preferred
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably in a resort or luxury environment
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS), Guesty experience a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and guest relations
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills for client interaction via phone and in person
- Ability to work overnight shifts reliably while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
