In this vital role, you will oversee the night shift at the front desk, manage guest accounts, handle inquiries, and maintain the security and integrity of the hotel during nighttime hours. Your proactive approach and hospitality expertise will help create a welcoming environment for guests arriving late or checking out early, while ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be the backbone of our hotel’s overnight operations, providing top-tier guest service with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival or departure, providing outstanding customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Manage all night audit procedures, including balancing daily financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports for management review.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints via phone or in person with patience and a solutions-oriented attitude.
- Maintain accurate records of guest stays, billing information, and reservations using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
- Ensure the safety and security of the property by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting routine security checks, and managing access control during overnight hours.
- Assist with late check-ins or early check-outs efficiently while adhering to hotel policies.
- Support front desk operations by answering phones promptly using proper phone etiquette and assisting with guest services as needed.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any issues affecting guest comfort or safety during your shift.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is highly preferred.
- Strong background in customer service within a hotel or resort environment.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with front desk procedures, night audit processes, and multi-line phone systems.
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high standards of hospitality and security.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills is advantageous.
