Duties
- Inspect units after housekeepers to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
- Sort dirty laundry and prepare items for laundry services
- Unpack and organize clean laundry in designated storage areas
- Identify and report stained or damaged linens
- Monitor, report, and restock cleaning supplies as needed
- Step in to clean units when necessary to support the team.
- Oversee inventory management of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment to optimize resource use and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and address any guest or client concerns promptly.
- Promote a culture of leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the housekeeping team.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or custodial services within hospitality or commercial settings.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Extensive janitorial experience with knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Prior experience managing laundry operations in hotels or similar environments preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards for cleanliness and guest service excellence.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
