About The Role
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at CoxHealth plays a vital strategic role in aligning HR initiatives with the organization’s mission and operational objectives. This position serves as a trusted advisor to service line leadership teams, providing expert guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and organizational development. The HRBP is responsible for fostering a positive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. Additionally, the role involves leading investigations into employee concerns, ensuring a fair, confidential, and compliant process with meticulous documentation. As a proactive change agent, the HRBP supports leadership in implementing organizational strategies that enhance employee well-being, operational efficiency, and compliance with federal and state employment laws.
Qualifications
A successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field. At least one year of professional experience in Human Resources is required, demonstrating a solid understanding of HR functions and employment law. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, particularly a high level of expertise in Excel. Excellent communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with management at various levels, as well as to facilitate training and presentations. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional time management, interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making abilities. The capacity to prepare clear, comprehensive documentation of processes and procedures is also vital. Preferred qualifications include SHRM Certification or PHR Certification, which reflect a commitment to professional development and HR best practices.
Responsibilities
The HRBP will serve as a strategic partner to service line leaders, providing guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, and policy implementation.
