About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated HR Coordinator to join our team at Meubles Foliot – Foliot Furniture. This pivotal role is designed for a proactive individual who is passionate about enhancing employee experience and fostering a vibrant workplace culture. The HR Coordinator will support various HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, internal events, employee engagement initiatives, and wellness programs. Additionally, this role involves providing backup support to the front desk, greeting visitors, and managing communication channels to ensure smooth office operations.

The ideal candidate will be an organized, personable professional with excellent communication skills, capable of balancing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of three years of relevant HR experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with HR best practices and employment laws. Fluency in both English and Spanish, written and verbal, is mandatory to effectively communicate across diverse teams and external partners.

Proficiency with HRIS systems such as ADP Workforce Now is required, along with strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Familiarity with additional tools like Canva, Mailchimp, or Concur is considered an asset. Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. A high level of professionalism, discretion, and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Support the recruitment process by managing job postings, scheduling interviews, and maintaining candidate communications. Facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding experiences to ensure positive employee transitions. Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Assist with benefits administration, payroll coordination, and respond to employee inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.

Contribute to the development and execution of internal events that promote a vibrant workplace culture. Act as a culture ambassador by proposing initiatives that foster engagement, inclusion, and employee recognition. Support the planning and logistics of training programs, including registration, scheduling, and follow-up communications. Help implement wellness initiatives aimed at improving work-life balance and mental health, based on employee feedback and needs assessments.

Provide backup support at the front desk by greeting visitors, answering calls, and assisting with administrative tasks related to office logistics. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient office operations, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
