About The Role
The Human Resources Generalist at ACO, Inc. plays a critical role in supporting the company's HR functions by partnering with management to promote employee engagement, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and uphold organizational policies. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, psychology, or a related field. A minimum of two years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role is required, with a solid understanding of HR laws, regulations, and employee relations. Candidates with at least one year of direct employee relations experience will be considered favorably. Professional certifications such as SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or PHR are advantageous. The candidate should demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems. Responsibilities
- Assist in the administration of company-wide HR policies, procedures, and practices, ensuring compliance with legal standards and corporate objectives.
- Partner with management to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, including counseling, orientation, recognition programs, and company events.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and organizational processes to ensure clarity and consistency.
- Coordinate ongoing training and development programs to support employee growth and support resolution of workplace issues.
- Support communication efforts related to employee policies, benefits enrollment, and company initiatives.
- Identify potential employee-relations issues and collaborate with management to address concerns proactively.
- Assist in handling grievance reports and support investigations related to harassment or policy violations.
- Help administer compensation and benefits programs, including open enrollment periods and leave management.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employment records, ensuring compliance with privacy standards.
- Manage return-to-work and accommodation processes, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.
