Primary Purpose
Provides centralized human resource services spanning payroll, benefits and other transactions. Ensures efficiency of service center operations, technology and transaction processes. Establishes standards and procedures for handling employee questions, transactions and administration of human resource programs. Coordinates services with the human resource information systems, human resource program managers and technology specialists. Provides reliable HR support by handling a broader range of transactions and resolving standard employee inquiries. Contributes to efficient service delivery by ensuring accuracy, compliance, and responsiveness in all assigned tasks.
Delivers administrative, coordination, and operational support across HR and its Centers of Excellence, including Benefits, Compensation, Pension, and Trust, as well as the HR Business Partner team. Supports governance committee logistics, HR programs, events, and vendor activities by coordinating schedules, preparing materials, and managing day-to-day processes. Ensures accurate, timely execution of activities and contributes to consistent, high-quality service delivery across HR functions and initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviews submitted forms for completeness and compliance before processing.
- Performs basic audits of HR data to identify and correct errors.
- Prepares and distributes standard HR communications to employees and managers.
- Supports HR reporting by compiling data for metrics and dashboards.
- Supports administrative and coordination activities across HR, including scheduling, travel, expense reporting, and governance logistics using established processes.
- Plans and executes HR events and initiatives, and coordinates vendor and meeting logistics, including materials preparation, room setup, and access.
- Maintains trackers and prepares recurring reports, reviews documentation for completeness, supports onboarding logistics, and collaborates with HR teams to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or business administration preferred.
Experience
- Typically requires 1 year of related experience

Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate upon hire.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of standard HR programs (benefits, onboarding, leave, payroll inputs) sufficient to resolve moderately complex inquiries.
- Ability to research answers using case notes, HR systems, and HR knowledge-base articles.
- Skill in drafting clear follow-up communications that explain HR processes or next steps.
- Ability to review submitted forms for accuracy and identify when corrections are needed.
- Knowledge of compliance-relevant processes such as employment verification and leave documentation.
- Skill in managing multiple cases at once while maintaining established service-level expectations.
- Ability to coach employees on how to use HR self-service tools and troubleshoot access issues.
- Working knowledge of HR functions and Centers of Excellence (e.g., Benefits, Compensation, Pension, Trust) and related processes.
- Basic understanding of HR programs, governance committees, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Strong coordination and organizational skills to manage schedules, events, meetings, and multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills to interact with HR teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail in preparing materials, reports, and documentation and ensuring accuracy.
- Ability to manage logistics for meetings, committee activities, and events from planning through execution.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional HR teams and provide reliable day-to-day operational support.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and ensure timely, consistent delivery of HR processes and services.
