The HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with employees and management by
delivering strategic HR support and driving organizational effectiveness.
We're looking for someone who
● Holds a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with several years of HR experience
● Has experience supporting manufacturing environments, including light industrial and
non-exempt employees
● Demonstrates working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including compensation,
employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and workforce
planning
● Has strong knowledge of federal and California employment laws
● Is experienced managing complex employee relations matters
● Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills
● Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Has strong interpersonal and customer service skills
● Is highly organized with strong attention to detail
● Can interpret and apply laws, guidelines, regulations, and company policies appropriately
● Is proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
● Has strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
What you'll do
● Conduct regular meetings with business unit managers to provide HR guidance and
support
● Consult with line management on employee relations, performance management, and
workforce matters
● Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies
● Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
● Provide coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary guidance to leadership
● Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational restructures
● Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers
● Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
● Identify training and executive coaching needs and monitor program effectiveness
● Partner with legal as needed to ensure compliance and reduce risk
● Support international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters
● Maintain business literacy regarding financial position, culture, and competitive landscape
● Perform additional projects and duties as assigned
