Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Immediate Hire Evening & Overnight Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by monitoring vital signs, performing physical examinations, and evaluating symptoms to inform care plans.
- Manage airway maintenance, ventilator support, and emergency response procedures to ensure patient safety during critical moments.
- Document all patient interactions accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and coordination of post-acute or home care services.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as an LPN or RN with current state certification.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders.
- Ability to perform complex patient assessments involving vital signs, intake/output monitoring, and medication administration.
