Job Duties:
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support.
- Provide medication reminders and monitor vital signs to ensure health and safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals aligned with individual dietary requirements and preferences.
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment.
- Observe and document client conditions, reporting any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Follow care plans meticulously while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
Experience
Candidates should have prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes, particularly with elderly populations. Experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, mobility, or those requiring hospice care is highly valued. Familiarity with patient monitoring, medication administration, and working within HIPAA guidelines is essential. Prior roles involving lifting or the use of gait belts are preferred.
