Core Services:
- Exit Readiness & Transaction Support: Exit-readiness/sell-side readiness, M&A and Exit Execution support and Integration Planning
- Finance Onboarding: Finance & accounting assessment, Onboarding roadmaps, FP&A and Accounting team builds, FP&A Enhancement (KPIs, Reporting & Forecasting), and Accounting Development (Cash to GAAP and Controllership)
Compensation (Project-Based) Target: $125–$300 per hour (level and experience dependent). Annualized for reference ($200,000 to $600,000)
Role Description
This is a project-based, remote role in the US for a Transactions professional – open to Associate to Director level with 3 to 12 years of experience.
We are looking for consultants who can quarterback operational diligence, integration and carveouts end-to-end: understand how the target operates, document current-state, design future-state, and drive cutovers with clear owners, timelines, and communications.
This is a hands-on player-coach role—equal parts structured planning and sleeves-rolled-up execution.
- Travel: ~20–40% to client sites as needed, typically on a hybrid remote / travel basis
- Industries: Generalist (technology, healthcare, industrials, business services, consumer, etc.)
- Client Types: PE-backed portfolio companies, private or public middle market companies
Things You’ll Learn to Do (or already know!)
- Rapidly map current operations: org, processes, SLAs, data flows, pain points.
- Identify risks, gaps, dependencies; estimate effort, sequence critical path, and align on value/ROI.
- Stand up and run IMO/SMO: cadence, owners, milestones; manage RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) and escalate early.
- Execute Day-1 readiness, cutovers (systems/process), and BAU handoffs; track KPIs.
Qualifications
- Ideal Backgrounds: Accounting firm / Consulting firm experience in (Deals / Advisory/ Transaction Services), Operational roles in managing M&A and Carve-outs, Functional spikes in Accounting or FP&A
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and preparing clear reports
- Project management expertise to lead and execute transaction-related projects effectively

- Start: Immediate/rolling, aligned to engagement timelines.
- Reporting: To a Value Bridge Engagement Lead/Principal.
