Welspun’s Little Rock facilities are state-of-the-art and one of their kinds in technology for producing pipes for oil and gas. The Spiral mill has diversified sizes ranging from 24 to 60 inches as outer diameter (OD) and 0.23 to 1 inch as wall thickness (WT), as well as coating and double jointing capabilities, our facilities provide a one-stop solution to valued oil and gas customers in and around the United States. The HFW mill is a fully automatic and integrated mill capable of producing pipes ranging in diameter 6 5/8th inch to 20” and wall thickness from 0.158” to 0.551” in. The Arkansas facilities employ more than 800 people.

Job Summary:
Millwrights are responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of plant equipment, mainly conveyor machines along with other specific machines used in our steel pipe production. They will also perform some work on the building’s maintenance such as door, HVAC and rooftop fans.
MUST have related experience with production maintenance (NO Facilities maintenance or equipment mechanics will fit this role).
– Industrial mechanic experience on manufacturing machines for production in steel indsutry
– Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics for troubleshooting
– Strong knowledge of hydraulics systems and their maintenance – especially conveyors
– Familiarity with HVAC systems and their repair
– (PLCs) is a plus
– Must be skilled in many construction activities such as plumbing, welding, assembly and some electrical work
– Must know how to operate hoists, power jacks, power tools, forklift, man lift, scissor lift, sky track and rigging devices
– Responsible for LOTO’s
– Required to move, assemble and install machinery and equipment such as shafting, precision bearings, gear boxes, motors, mechanical clutches, conveyors and tram rails.
– Must have a good understanding of fluid mechanics (hydraulics and pneumatics) to include knowledge of valves, cylinders, pumps, HVAC and compressors.
