POSITION SUMMARY

At Hello Garage, our mission is to transform garages and create remarkable customer experiences. The Production Installation Team is responsible for making sure that our customers are happy while performing the work and installation safely at Hello Garage Standards, on time, and on budget. Additionally, we expect employees to show enterprise commitment and be willing to do duties outside of their normal job responsibilities.

COMPENSATION

  • $25–$35 per hour, depending on experience

SCHEDULE

  • Part-time
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours
  • Occasional extended hours depending on project needs (during peak season only)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

This position requires a diverse skill set. Primary responsibilities include:

· Make Customers Happy

  • Execute and interact with homeowners by trained upon Customer Message and follow the Production Core Process.
  • Keep customer’s home clean and proactively take measures to leave it in better condition than found
  • Ensure customer is happy with the finished job before leaving

· Get Work Done

  • Proactively review job specifications to determine materials, tools and equipment needs for the job.
  • Load truck with necessary materials, tools and equipment
  • Complete installation following all core processes
  • Complete installation at/or below the defined labor percentage
  • Collect payment from the customer when the job is completed
  • Ask Homeowner for a 5-Star Google review upon completion of the work
  • Distribute yard signs and door hangers to neighboring households
  • Maintain a clean truck and storage
  • Unload and clean truck each week
  • Inventory management each week

· Safety

  • Ensure all aspects of work are being performed safely and consistently
  • Call out any safety concerns as soon as they are identified
  • Utilize all designated PPE equipment
  • (Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and returned to manager or other appropriate staff person)

PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS FOR LIFTING, CARRYING, PUSHING, PULLING

  • Ability to move around, inspect things at lower levels, and drive 50-75% of the time.
  • The job consists of 15% sedentary work with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds, 30% light work with occasional lifting up to 20 pounds and frequent lifting up to 10 pounds, 20% medium work with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and 10% heavy work with occasional lifting up to 100 pounds and frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in construction, flooring, or related trades preferred
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to read materials, communicate with others, and use a computer/tablet 75-100% of the time.

CLASSIFICATION

This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Washington State law. Employees are eligible for overtime pay based on hours worked.
