Are you a finish carpentry expert with a sharp eye for detail and a knack for problem-solving? We are seeking a skilled Interior Trim & Warranty Punch Technician to join our team.
In this role, you will be the face of our company in our clients’ homes, ensuring that every detail of our work is perfect. You will focus on final "punch-out" items and post-closing warranty repairs, ranging from trim repairs to door installations and hardware fixes. If you take pride in the "finishing touches" and enjoy interacting with homeowners to ensure their satisfaction, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Finish Carpentry: Execute high-quality repairs on interior trim, including baseboards, crown molding, casing, and window sills.
- Cabinetry & Doors: Adjust, repair, and align cabinet doors and drawers; service door hardware and install missing or damaged interior trim components.
- Warranty Services: Diagnose and resolve reported warranty items professionally and efficiently in occupied homes.
- Customer Communication: Interact professionally with homeowners, explaining the repair process, maintaining a clean workspace, and ensuring total satisfaction upon completion.
- Documentation: Track daily work orders, document repairs with photos, and communicate effectively with our project managers.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in finish carpentry, trim installation, or punch-out service work.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with power tools (miter saws, nail guns, drills) and hand tools.
- Attention to Detail: A "perfectionist" mindset regarding aesthetics and fit/finish.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills; you must be comfortable working in occupied homes and communicating clearly with clients.
- Reliability: Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record.
- Equipment: Ability to provide your own standard set of hand tools (power tools, larger specialized equipment is provided).
