Internal Medicine – Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

What You Will Do:

• Join an established team of 8 Providers
• Call structure: No call!
• Practice setting: Outpatient
• Employed position within a nonprofit health system
• Comprehensive Patient Care: Obtain detailed histories, perform physical examinations, and accurately diagnose and treat a wide variety of acute and chronic internal medicine conditions.
• Patient & Family Empowerment: Counsel and educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment options, preventative health strategies, and chronic disease self-management.

• Access to radiology and lab; Specialty providers (such as cardiology, podiatry, and endocrinology) rotate through this site. General surgery, sleep, and neurology are also located in this building.
• Serving a population of approximately 48,000 residents

What You Will Need:

• One or more of the following required:
  • Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration.

• Master’s degree of Nursing required.
