- Construct and evaluate M&A scenarios spanning financial modeling, valuation, and transaction execution, producing outputs that meet institutional-grade standards
- Review and assess company and industry analyses, applying sector and deal-type judgment consistent with bulge bracket advisory practice
- Develop and critique pitch book and investment committee materials, ensuring logical coherence, accuracy, and professional presentation
- Analyze strategic buyer, financial sponsor, and public-company transaction structures, surfacing nuanced deal dynamics and decision-relevant insights
- Interpret valuation outputs across methodologies (DCF, LBO, comparable companies, precedent transactions) and articulate defensible conclusions
- Support due diligence workflows by identifying information gaps, risk factors, and deal-critical considerations within financial data sets
Core Requirements
- Direct transaction experience at a bulge bracket or leading global investment bank with an established M&A practice
- Proficiency in financial statement analysis and the ability to identify valuation-relevant signals across balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow
- Command of deal execution processes, including timeline management, counterparty dynamics, and document review within live transaction environments
- Demonstrated ability to build and stress-test financial models independently, with fluency across standard M&A valuation frameworks
- Experience producing or materially contributing to pitch books, CIMs, or board-level transaction materials
- Capacity to synthesize complex financial information into clear, well-reasoned written recommendations
Additional Strengths
- Exposure to cross-border M&A transactions, including regulatory, structural, or jurisdictional complexity
