IT TECHNICIAN – FULL TIME Gadgets Technology Jobs in Spearfish at Gadgets Technology
Gadgets Technology is a locally owned and operated IT services company with our main support location in Spearfish, SD. We proudly provide comprehensive technology solutions including managed IT support, cybersecurity, penetration testing, and client training to businesses across Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Arizona, including dental and medical practices. We are looking for a reliable, customer-focused IT Technician to join our team and help deliver exceptional technical support to our clients. We will train the right person!
POSITION SUMMARY
As an IT Technician, you will provide a combination of phone/remote support and onsite service calls. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues involving computers, printers, networks, and software for a variety of business clients. This is a hands-on role where strong technical skills and excellent customer service are equally important.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide phone and onsite technical support to clients across our multi-state service area
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware and software problems
- Install, configure, and maintain printers, scanners, and other peripherals
- Set up and troubleshoot wired and wireless network issues
- Support and maintain various business software applications
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain positive client relationships
- Accurately document all service calls, resolutions, and time in our system
- Travel to client sites as needed (reliable transportation required)
SCHEDULE
Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Full-time (40 hours/week) with occasional weekend or after-hours work as needed for client emergencies or projects. Flexibility is required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year of experience providing phone-based or onsite IT support directly to clients
- Strong troubleshooting skills with computers, printers, networks, and software
- Valid, clean, and active driver’s license with reliable transportation
- Ability to provide professional (non-personal) references
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible schedule – occasional weekend or after-hours work may be required for client emergencies or projects
- Must be able to pass a standard background check
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (BIG PLUS)
- Experience with dental software and hardware (practice management systems, digital imaging, etc.)
- Previous experience supporting medical or dental office environments
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications
