Compensation
- $16.00–$16.50/hour
- Pooled tips averaging an additional $2.50–$4.00/hour
- Typical total earnings: $18.50–$20.50/hour
- Opportunities for advancement into Assistant Manager, General Manager, Area Leadership and beyond.
Position Summary
The Shift Leader assists the Store Manager by leading daily operations during scheduled shifts. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for delivering operational excellence while creating an exceptional guest experience.
You will lead by example, coach team members, maintain high operational standards, and ensure every guest receives outstanding service.
This is not a passive management position. Shift Leaders are expected to actively run the floor, solve problems, and take ownership of their shift.

Responsibilities
Leadership
- Lead and motivate the team throughout each shift
- Coach and develop team members
- Reinforce company standards and expectations
- Hold team members accountable respectfully and consistently
- Recognize strong performance and provide constructive feedback
- Create a positive, high-energy work environment
Operations
- Execute opening, closing, and shift procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and health standards are followed
- Oversee cash handling procedures and operational compliance
- Ensure recipes and presentation standards are consistently followed
- Help maintain inventory, stocking, and prep levels
Guest Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Create genuine connections with guests
- Resolve customer concerns professionally
- Maintain a welcoming atmosphere throughout every shift
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or restaurant operations
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Consistent attendance and punctuality
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable coaching others and managing performance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively while leading a team

Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent movement throughout the shift, including:
- Standing for extended periods
- Bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting
- Frequent cleaning, stocking, and food preparation
- Lifting up to 40 pounds
- Working in walk-in coolers and freezers
- Exposure to produce, dairy products, cleaning chemicals, citrus, and common allergens
