Position Description:
Technical Foundation Building Support senior engineers in designing and testing mechanical equipment and machinery for petrochemical clients. Execute technical tasks requiring precision in calculations, data completeness, and code compliance while building expertise in ASME/API standards.
Problem-Solving Excellence Apply standard engineering methods to solve limited-scope problems as part of a collaborative mechanical engineering team. Develop solutions within defined project scopes while gaining experience in equipment and piping design.
Project Collaboration Assist in producing critical documents, drawings, and reports while learning to track project progress against schedules and budgets. Build understanding of inter-discipline requirements and client standards.

What You Bring
Must-Have Qualifications
- Education: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from ABET accredited university
- Experience: 1-5 years in petrochemical industry
- Industry Focus: Oil and Gas Production, Refining, Gas Compression and Transmission
- Technical Knowledge: Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, Mechanics of Materials, Fluid Dynamics
- Software: Microsoft Applications (Word/Excel) and engineering software programs
- Certifications: Valid driver’s license, ability to obtain TWIC card

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to sit/stand, type, and perform computer work for long periods of time.
- Frequent use of hands/fingers for computer entry and answering calls.
- Able to perform occasional bending, lifting, and reaching.
- Must be able to lift 15 lbs if necessary.
- Visual acuity sufficient for reading documents, computer screens, and technical materials.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally in-person, by phone, and via video conferencing.
- Hearing ability adequate for meetings, presentations, and collaboration.
- Ability to concentrate and maintain attention for extended periods while managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends as business needs require.
- Able to travel to job sites (local and/or remote) as project needs require.
- Able to work in heavy industrial environments while wearing required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, fire-retardant clothing, gloves, etc.).
- Able to climb ladders, stairs, and work on elevated surfaces.
- Able to walk on uneven terrain and surfaces.
- May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and industrial environments during site visits.
