Responsibilities
- Provide daily care and supervision of animals housed in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels, cages, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment for pets
- Handle animals safely using proper animal restraint techniques and pet handling skills to prevent injury or stress
- Experience
- Experience in pet sitting or pet boarding environments demonstrates reliability and animal handling skills
- Kennel experience or animal care background provides a strong foundation for this role
- Knowledge of animal behavior and training techniques enhances your ability to manage diverse pets effectively
- Customer service experience helps foster positive interactions with pet owners and visitors
