Kennel Operations Associate (FT or PT) Jobs in Hope Valley at Canine Behavioral Services Inc.

- Due to the incredible growth of our all-natural dog training company, we currently seek to add experienced dog handlers to our fantastic team.
Position: Kennel Technician – Full-Time and Part-Time: Day Shift & PM Shift
Location: 81 Skunk Hill Rd. Hope Valley RI 02832 – by Appointment only
This is a seriousposition that involves working with and handling all types of canine behavioral issues.
Pay Rate will be commensurate with experience, but will range from:
- $16.50 – $22.50/hr – First Raise Review at 30 days
Total Weekly Hours (once trained):
- Full-Time; 32-40 hours per week
- Part-Time; 18 – 32 hours per week
- Flexibility opens up more hours
Shifts Available – we’d love to fill this entire schedule below:
- Day Shift; 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
- PM Shift; 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm and/or 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Job Requirements
- Must have your own dependable vehicle
- Must have at least 1 year of paid experience working with and/or handling dogs
- Must live no farther than a 45-minute commute (each way) from our location.
- Must be punctual and on time – No Exceptions
- Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift
- Must be willing to work outside in ALL weather
- Must be able to lift to 40 lbs
In order to be considered for this position, the Applicant MUST have at least 1 year of paid experience working with and/or handling dogs.
Please do not apply if you have no paid experience working with dogs.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for dogs including, but not limited to, training, feeding and exercise.
- Handle and restrain animals safely during training and grooming procedures.
- Assist in training dogs using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kennel environment.
- Communicate with supervisors & trainers regarding the dog’s needs and behaviors.
