**part time mornings, evening, and weekend shifts**
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and possess the necessary skills to provide excellent care for our furry friends.
Duties
– Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel facility
– Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their individual needs
– Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
– Monitor animals for any signs of illness or distress and report to the veterinary staff
– Assist with bathing, grooming, and administering medications to animals as needed
– Handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
Experience
– Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred
– Knowledge of basic dog training techniques is a plus
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
– Experience working in a veterinary setting or as a veterinary assistant is beneficial
