We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional food experiences across a fast-paced, quick service and casual dining environment. This pivotal role combines culinary expertise with strong management skills to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food safety compliance, and maintain high standards of quality and Guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will thrive in a lively hospitality setting, demonstrate leadership in staff training and development, and possess a passion for food preparation and restaurant management.

Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing training on food safety, food handling, and proper cooking techniques while fostering a team-oriented environment.
  • Implement and maintain POS systems such as Toast and ME for accurate order processing and cash handling.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and sanitation practices across all kitchen areas.
  • Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours.
  • Support events ,catering, and special event food production to expand service offerings.
  • Lead efforts in training & development initiatives to enhance staff skills, improve service quality, and promote professional growth.
  • Monitor food quality standards consistently to uphold the restaurant’s reputation for excellence.
  • Collaborate with restaurant management on budgeting, cost control, and overall food service management strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a quick service or casual dining restaurant environment.
  • Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead teams effectively in high-pressure settings.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS and Margins Edge inventory systems for order processing and cash handling.
  • Knowledge of inventory control practices, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff and conduct interviews confidently.
  • Experience with managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing food production processes.
  • Background in hospitality management or hotel experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing shift schedules, supervising staff training & development, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Join our vibrant team where your culinary talents will shine! Pay: $49,503.39 – $59,616.99 per year
