Laborer / Carpenter Apprentice

About the Position
We are hiring a full-time Laborer / Carpenter Apprentice to support our residential remodeling team.
This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in clients’ homes. The right candidate will assist with demolition, carpentry support, job site preparation, clean-up, and general team support on kitchen, bathroom, and other remodeling projects.
Key Responsibilities
Job Site Preparation
Help prepare work areas for remodeling projects, including protecting floors, setting up tools and materials, and maintaining an organized job site.
Demolition and Debris Removal
Assist with the demolition of kitchens, bathrooms, and other remodeling areas. Remove debris safely and keep the job site clean, organized, and hazard-free.
Carpentry Support
Assist with basic carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, fastening materials, framing, installing trim, and supporting other construction and finish work as needed.
Job Site Clean-Up
Keep work areas clean throughout the day. Help remove construction debris, organize tools and materials, and restore the work area at the end of each day or project.
Team Support
Work closely with supervisors and other team members to complete tasks efficiently, safely, and according to project specifications.
Qualifications
- Construction, remodeling, or carpentry experience is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to learn and follow directions
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting materials and working on your feet throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Punctual, dependable, and professional
- Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends when needed
- Reliable transportation required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
