Landscape Crew Leader
All Seasons Landscaping LLC is a growing landscaping company serving Rockford, Loves Park, Machesney Park, Cherry Valley, and surrounding areas. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Crew Leader to help lead our field operations and deliver exceptional results for our clients.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys leading others, and wants to grow with a company that values quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards on every property while helping guide and support crew members in the field.
Pay
- $22–$25 per hour
- Performance-based raises and advancement opportunities
Schedule
- Typical schedule: Sunday–Wednesday
- Additional hours available Thursday as workload requires
- Typical workday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Seasonal full-time position
Responsibilities
- Lead and assist crew members on landscaping and lawn maintenance projects
- Operate commercial landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure work is completed to company quality standards
- Train and mentor crew members when needed
- Communicate effectively with management regarding job progress and site conditions
- Perform lawn mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing
- Install mulch, plants, topsoil, and landscape materials
- Complete landscape cleanups, shrub trimming, and property improvements
- Load, unload, and maintain equipment and materials
- Help ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable and dependable attendance
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Valid driver’s license preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous landscaping experience
- Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience operating commercial mowers, trimmers, and blowers
- Experience towing trailers
- Experience operating skid steers, mini skid steers, or compact equipment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Experience working directly with customers
